Cultivating Students’ Research Skills and Advanced Knowledge to Examine Society and Companies with a Global Perspective

The Division of Business Administration established its master’s course in April 1972 and added its doctoral course two years later. Since April 2001, lectures have been held during the day as well as in the evening to make the course more accessible to working professionals.

Upon completing the master’s course, several career options are open to graduates, such as becoming high school teachers or public servants. Others have obtained the national tax accountant qualification and started their professions at accounting firms or various consulting companies. Some doctoral graduates have joined research institutions or become academics at universities.

The Division of Business Administration seeks to nurture individuals who are committed to personal development and possess the kind of ethics and human sensitivity that reflect the university’s Christian spirit. Our academic goal is to cultivate students to acquire plentiful interdisciplinary knowledge and have abundant creativity to seek and contemplate on how theories of business administration, management informatics, commerce, and accounting are connected to their research, society, and corporate culture. To this end, we have assembled a diverse faculty that offers a unique curriculum and thorough guidance. Our professors have efficient expertise and continue to develop themselves as well as innovative research guidance methods, for it is by this that we believe we are able to foster individuals who can contribute to the global community by interpreting and making sound judgments regarding the ever-changing socio-economic landscape from a global perspective.
