With aging societies becoming a global trend,
health care has become the new upcoming industry of the 21st century. In
essence, health care is an industry that combines humanity and technology to
provide service to the public. It includes (1) an established model of business
operation, (2) service contents and technologies, and (3) advanced technological
equipment and facilities that promote an environment of quality service. The
government is currently establishing a strategic plan for the development of
the health care industry; planning regulations and support mechanisms.
