1. Entry Requirements
1) Applicants for the Summer Japanese Intensive Program at Seinan Gakuin University are college student abroad.
2) Applicants must have studied Japanese language for a minimum of one semester at the time of application and should be able to use Te-Form in conversation.
2. Numbers to be admitted
Maximum 40 altogether (4 classes)
1) Application Fee
JPY 12,000 (non-refundable)
Payment information for Application fee will be informed after our receipt of your on-line application form.
2) Program Fee
150,000 JPY for students from SGU’s partner institutions
160,000 JPY for students from other institutions
*Tuition fees, textbook fees, accommodation fee, rental futon fee, field trip to Dazaifu and a two-day field trip in/near Kyushu area are included.
*Air fare, meals, accident and medical insurance fee are not included.
*Field work fees (around 3,000 JPY) are not included.
Payment information for Program Fee will be informed after your participation is admitted.
Program fees must be paid in Japanese Yen and received by remittance.
The deadline of remittance will be announced with the acceptance information.
4. Refund Policy
Cancellation is accepted only by e-mail. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Be sure that these dates are in "Japan Time".
|1.||Cancellation from May 30 to June 18, 2017: 20% penalty fee will be charged from Program fee.|
|2.||Cancellation from June 19 to June 25, 2017: 50% penalty fee will be charged from Program fee.|
|3.||Cancellation from June 26, 2017: 100% penalty fee will be charged from Program fee.|
*Remittance fee for refund will be deducted from the Program fee.
5. Required Documents

(4cmx3cm Both color and black and white are acceptable.)
|4||Copy of passport|
|5||Travel insurance which covers 1 month stay in Japan
* You must obtain a travel insurance policy to cover your one-month stay in Japan after you are admitted. Be sure to bring an insurance certificate to Japan.
(We will make a photocopy of your insurance on the first day of the program.)
