Application & Fees

*Application for Four-Week Intensive Japanese Language Program 2018 is closed.
We will recruit applicants for the program in 2019 from mid-December, 2018.

1. Entry Requirements
 1) Applicants for the Summer Japanese Intensive Program at Seinan Gakuin University are college
  student abroad.
 2) Applicants must have studied Japanese language for a minimum of one semester at the time of
  application and should be able to use Te-Form in conversation.

2. Numbers to be admitted
 Maximum 40 altogether (4 classes)

3. Fees
 1) Application Fee
 
JPY 12,000 (non-refundable)
 
Payment information for Application fee will be informed after our receipt of your
 on-line application form.
 2) Program Fee

 150,000 JPY
for students from SGU’s partner institutions
 160,000 JPY
for students from other institutions   
 *Tuition fees, textbook fees, accommodation fee, rental futon fee, field trip to Dazaifu and
 a two-day field trip in/near Kyushu area are included.
 *Air fare, meals, insurance fee are not included.
 *Field work fees (around 3,000 JPY) are not included.  

Payment information for Program Fee will be informed after your participation is admitted.
The deadline of remittance will be announced with the acceptance information.

4. Refund Policy
 Cancellation is accepted only by e-mail. (intleduc@seinan-gu.ac.jp)
 Be sure that these dates are in "Japan Time".
 1) Cancellation from May 25 to June 11, 2018: 20% penalty fee will be charged
 from Program fee.
 2) Cancellation from June 12 to June 24, 2018: 50% penalty fee will be charged
 from Program fee.
 3) Cancellation from June 25, 2018: 100% penalty fee will be charged
 from Program fee.
 *Remittance fee for refund will be deducted from the Program fee.

5. Required Documents
 1) Online Application Form
   a) Contact us (inbound@seinan-gu.ac.jp) to obtain the password for your application.
   b) Process your application here.
 2) Certificate to show that you are a student registered at your home institution
 3) ID photo (4cmx3cm Both color and black and white are acceptable.)
 4) Copy of passport
 *Documents No. 2 – 4 are to be submitted after processing online application by digital data
 to inbound@seinan-gu.ac.jp.

6. Deadline of completion of the above required documents
 March 31, 2018
