1. Applicants for the Summer Japanese Intensive Program at Seinan Gakuin University are college student abroad.
2. Applicants must have studied Japanese language for a minimum of one semester and should be able to read the Japanese KANA syllabary and have knowledge of Te-Form.

Maximum 40 altogether (4 classes)
● Refresher (Beginning II)
60 mins x 3 classes x 15 days and exams
* Project work (field work, interviews with Japanese students, etc) are scheduled outside regular class periods. For reference, see last summer's class schedule.
*Placement Test: Students are all given a placement test at the first day of the program. They are placed in one of four levels of classes based on its results.
Seinan Gakuin University International House (I-House)
Shared kitchens are available at the International House
Room Facilities: air conditioner, bed, desk, chair, refrigerator, toilet, lights, sink with hot and cold water.
*Housing will be available from June 24 (Mon) to July 29 (Mon) by noon.
*All the participants are expected to stay at the I-House.
Due to the balance of number of residents in the dormitory, participants might be placed in the off-campus dormitory (twin bedded room).
160,000 JPY for students from SGU’s partner institutions
170,000 JPY for students from other institutions
*Tuition fees, textbook fees, accommodation fee, rental futon fee, field trip to
Dazaifu and Kumamoto are included.
*Air fare, meals, accident and medical insurance fee are not included.
*Field work fees (around 3,000 JPY) are not included.
Payment information will be informed after your participation is admitted.
Total fees must be paid in Japanese Yen and received by remittance.
The deadline of remittance will be announced with the acceptance information.

* You must obtain an accident insurance policy to cover your one-month stay in Japan after you are admitted. Be sure to bring an insurance certificate to Japan.
(We will make a photocopy of your insurance on the first day of the program.)
