
Academic Requirements
In order to maintain your student visa status with the Immigration Bureau of Japan, you must stay enrolled in a minimum of 14 credits per semester. There is no maximum credit limit.

These courses are offered in the Regular Departments. Regular Departments follow a different academic calendar from the International Division, with classes continuing until the end of January. However, special arrangements are made for international students: by completing alternative assignments equivalent to the January sessions, they can fulfill course requirements by December 24, the end of the Fall semester.
