About CIE
The Center for International Education(CIE)
The Center for International Education (CIE) is responsible for everything that Seinan Gakuin University (SGU) has to do with the world. CIE regards it as its most important mission to provide students, national or international, with opportunities to learn more about the world, since we believe this to be part of SGU's mission in education and the pursuit of vocation. With these aims in mind, we coordinate the following programs:
1. One year/semester student exchange study programs
CIE coordinates one year/semester student exchange programs with 36 partner institutions in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., France, Italy, Norway, Finland, Netherlands, Denmark, China, South Korea, and Taiwan. We support exchange and self-financed students studying at SGU(International Division) and SGU students studying abroad.
2. Four-Week intensive Japanese language & culture programs
CIE provides a four-week (June-July) intensive Japanese language program for the students from the partner and non-partner institutions.
